Man arrested outside High Street, Lowestoft, shop in possession of knife

A man was arrested after being stopped outside of a town centre shop in possession of a knife.

The individual, in his 40s, was apprehended by officers in High Street, Lowestoft, on Wednesday.

He was taken into custody at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre on suspicion of going equipped to steal and possession of a bladed article.

The man was bailed to return to police on 16 August.
