Man bailed after being arrested in connection with suspicious death in London Road South, Lowestoft




A man who was arrested in connection with a suspicious death in Lowestoft has been bailed.

Officers were called to a flat in London Road South at 7.10am yesterday following reports that a woman in her 40s had suddenly died.

A Home Office post mortem examination took place today, although the results were inconclusive.

At 1.15pm yesterday, officers arrested a 49-year-old from the Lowestoft area on suspicion of murder.

He was taken to Great Yarmouth Investigation Centre for questioning and has since been bailed until May 30.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said officers were treating this as an isolated incident.
