Lowestoft man Billy Mansfield appears before Norwich Magistrates’ Court after mobility scooter theft in London Road North

A man has appeared in court after the theft of a mobility scooter in Lowestoft town centre last week.

Billy Mansfield, 40, of Ethel Road, appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

He had been arrested and charged the day before in connection with the theft of a mobility scooter in London Road North on Monday, March 24.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police confirmed the scooter was stolen between 10am and 12.15pm.

Mansfield has been bailed until April 28.
