Carlton Colville car fire in Long Road sparks police investigation

Police are investigating the cause of a fire which saw a BMW go up in flames.

Emergency services were called to Long Road in Carlton Colville at around 10.30pm on Tuesday after a car was discovered on fire.

The car was locked and parked in the residential street at the time of the blaze.

Fire crews extinguished the flames, with a police spokesman having confirmed that there were no injuries.

He added: "Enquiries remain ongoing in order to try and establish the cause of the fire."
