Cyclist punched in ear during Lowestoft assault on Bascule Bridge
Police have launched an appeal after a man punched a cyclist in the ear in a Suffolk town.
A man in his 30s was getting off his bike on Bascule Bridge, Lowestoft, on Sunday, June 16 at about 4.20pm when he accidentally bumped into another man.
The man then proceeded to assault the cyclist by punching him in the ear.
The suspect is described as white, approximately 5 foot 9 inches, of medium build with short black hair, clean shaven with tattoos on both legs and arms.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black and white top, shorts and black Nike trainers and carrying a sports bag.
He was also with a white woman with long blonde hair who was wearing leggings and a hoodie.
