B1532 London Road South, in Lowestoft, to shut for three nights for resurfacing




A busy town road will be shut for resurfacing for three nights this month.

Suffolk Highways posted on Facebook saying the B1532 London Road South, in Lowestoft, will close between 8pm and 5am from June 18 to 20.

It added that the carriageway will be shut to ensure the safety of both its operatives and drivers.

Work will be carried out in two phases:

• Phase 1 – London Road, Pakefield to Kensington Road

• Phase 2 – Rectory Road to Cliff Road

During the works, traffic will be redirected via Rectory Road, the B1532, the A12 and the B1532 again and vice versa.
