Police called to disturbance at house in Denmark Road, Lowestoft

Armed police swooped on a Lowestoft house today following reports of a disturbance.

Officers were called at 8.50am to reports of an ongoing incident in Denmark Road and a search of the house was carried out.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing eight police cars and armed police units in the area.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said enquiries into the incident were ongoing.
