Lowestoft mum Abi Coulborn worried about vandal attacks on car after two incidents in one week

A Suffolk mum whose car has been targeted by vandals twice in just one week has been left worrying about what they'll do next.

Abi Coulborn, who lives near Denmark Road in Lowestoft, awoke today to find a back passenger window of her Citroën smashed - just one week after her windscreen was also damaged.

"I found the back window smashed and there was glass all over my two children's car seats," said Abi, who has two sons aged three and four.

"The boys' car seats are totally covered in glass. I'm absolutely fuming. There are also new dents and scratches.

"Clearly someone doesn't like us but really, smashing windows with child seats in the back, what the heck?"

Police are now investigating the incidents but Abi said she would likely feel unsettled until those responsible are caught.

"I have no idea who is doing this or why. It's very worrying," she said.

"Even if I get it repaired, will I just be waiting until they come back and do it again?"

Abi doesn't yet know how much the damage will cost to repair but said that the car would be out of action until the windows are fixed.

"It's very annoying," she said. "It looks like I'll be walking places for a week or so."
