Eight homes could be built on land off Lakenheath High Street

Eight new homes could be built on land off a village high street.

MB Homes Anglia Ltd has submitted proposals for four three-bedroom homes and four four-bedroom homes on land at the back of 124 High Street.

A planning statement to West Suffolk Council said the 0.3 hectare site was mainly grass land.

Permission was previously granted for three homes and the proposal seeks to extend the development area.

It said the contribution to the housing stock in Lakenheath should weigh in favour of the development.
