Ipswich Town to find out their Papa John's Trophy last 32 opponents on Friday

Ipswich Town will find out their opponents for their Papa John's Trophy last 32 fixture this week.

The draw for the competition will take place on Friday evening, live on Sky Sports, following the game between Birmingham City and Sunderland.

Town are guaranteed a home draw in the next round after finishing top in the group stage on six points, having defeated Northampton and Arsenal Under-21's.

Kieran McKenna's men will face one of the sides that finished second in the other southern section groups.

That means they can face one of Charlton Athletic, Portsmouth, Cheltenham, Peterborough, Bristol Rovers, Newport County or Sutton United.

Ties will take place the week commencing November 21.
