Former Manchester United youngster Josh Harrop reportedly on Ipswich Town's radar

Ipswich Town are reportedly plotting a move for Preston North End's attacking midfielder Josh Harrop.

The 25-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester United and famously scored in his one and only senior appearance for the club on the final day of the 2016/17 season against Crystal Palace.

He moved to Preston on a free transfer that summer but despite having been a regular in recent campaigns, Harrop has fallen out of favour this term.

The former England Under-20 international has been limited to just one start in the Championship so far and Football Insider claim Ipswich are hoping to seal a loan deal.

Harrop is currently contracted to Preston until the summer of 2023.
