Sheffield Wednesday playmaker Josh Windass is a reported transfer target of new Ipswich Town manager Paul Cook
Recently-appointed Ipswich Town manager Paul Cook is reportedly keen to bring Josh Windass to the club in the summer.
The pair have previously worked together at Wigan Athletic, with the playmaker admitting that he didn't see 'eye to eye' with Cook following his departure to Sheffield Wednesday last year.
However, according to Football Insider, that will not stop Cook from looking to be reunited with the 27-year-old at Portman Road.
Windass, who is the son of former Hull City forward Dean, is believed to have a little more than 12 months left to run on his deal with Wednesday.
The Owls are having a tough season in the Championship, sitting 23rd in the table having won just nine of their 34 matches.
Windass has feature in 29 of those fixtures, scoring five goals and laying on one assist.
