Ipswich Town midfielder Andre Dozzell reportedly being monitored by Blackburn Rovers
Blackburn Rovers are reportedly keeping a close eye on Ipswich Town midfielder Andre Dozzell.
According to TWTD, the Championship side, who are managed by former Town captain Tony Mowbray, have been monitoring the former England Under-20's development in recent months.
The report adds that Mowbray's number two – another former Town defender Mark Venus – was due to make a personal check on Dozzell at the weekend, only for Ipswich's trip to Shrewsbury Town to be postponed an hour before kick off.
Nevertheless, it is believed Blackburn will look to maintain their interest in the 21-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window opening.
Dozzell, who is contracted to Ipswich until 2024, is the son of former Town midfielder Jason.
