Ipswich Town: Kieran McKenna’s men to face Premier League side Fulham at Portman Road in Carabao Cup fourth round following win over Wolves




Ipswich Town will host Premier League side Fulham in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup following their 3-2 win over Wolves.

The Tractor Boys came from two goals behind to beat Gary O’Neil’s men 3-2 at Portman Road and are now in the last 16 of the competition for the first time in 13 years.

Fulham, who currently sit 11th in the top flight, secured a 2-1 victory over Norwich City at Craven Cottage to reach the next stage of the competition.

The two teams last met in the Carabao Cup in September 2020, where the Cottages claimed a 1-0 win, with the only goal of the game scored by Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović.

Fixtures for the fourth round will be played in the week commencing Monday, October 30, with the game likely to be on the Wednesday as Marco Silva’s side come up against Brighton on the preceding Sunday.
