Ipswich Town: Premier League match against Wolves named as Foundation Fixture for 2024/25

Ipswich Town has announced their match against Wolves will be the club’s annual Foundation Fixture for the 2024/25 season.

The initiative has returned following the success of the previous two campaigns that have seen over £85,000 raised to support the Ipswich Town Foundation and its work in the community.

The club’s community arm engages with about 9,000 young people and vulnerable adults across 29 diverse and innovative programmes.

Ahead of the Premier League match against Wolves at Portman Road on Saturday, April 5, (3pm), there will be an increased Foundation presence in the FanZone and stadium, including half-time activities.

The Fly the Flag, Matchday Experience, and Coach Arrival experiences will also all be made up of participants from the Foundation.

As part of the event, fans are encouraged to donate to the Foundation where possible, with staff to be located around Portman Road collecting both cash and contactless donations on the day.

Online donations are accepted through the Foundation’s Crowdfunder page.

The club has also pledged to donate £1 from every home match ticket, matchday programme and pint sold.

Matchday Lottery tickets will be available to purchase around the stadium, with sellers located by the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand and Cobbold Stand turnstiles, in the FanZone, and in all hospitality areas.

Dan Palfrey, Director of Foundation, said: “We’re delighted to announce the Wolves game as our dedicated Foundation Fixture.

“With the club in the Premier League, there are more eyes than ever on the game, which provides us with a significant opportunity to showcase the impact of the work we undertake on the lives of people in Ipswich and wider Suffolk.

“The previous two Foundation Fixtures have shown incredible generosity from the club and its supporters, with those funds used to help us reach more people and continue to make genuine, positive change.”
