Ipswich Town Football Club fans can watch beamback at Portman Road stadium
Ipswich Town fans without tickets to Sunday’s final can soak up a match-like atmosphere by joining thousands of fans to watch a beamback.
Up to 5,000 tickets costing £5 each for a Portman Road beamback of the match against Fleetwood will go on sale at midday tomorrow.
Having sealed promotion to the Championship on Saturday afternoon, Ipswich Town will secure the League One title if they better Plymouth's result this weekend.
The capacity at Highbury Stadium in Fleetwood, Lancashire – where the game will be held – is 5,327, so the beamback attendance is expected to be close to that of the game itself.
The club's beamback for the Cambridge game in early February saw the Blue Army fill the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand at Portman Road.
Due to extensive pitchworks underway ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, the Fleetwood beamback will instead take place on two big screens in the FanZone.
The match will start at 12.00pm but the full event will run from 11am to 3pm – with FanZone Presenter Dave Vant speaking to a number of special guests.
Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis via the club's ticketing website.
