Ipswich Town Under-18s set up clash with Liverpool in FA Youth Cup after win on penalties against Nottingham Forest

Ipswich Town Under-18s will face Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup after a 4-2 win on penalties against Nottingham Forest.

The young Blues opened the scoring through Rio Morgan in the 26th minute, but were pegged back by their Category One opponents midway through the second half.

An even affair ensued in front of a crowd of 540 at Portman Road, and nothing could split either side after 90 minutes of football.

Town battled on, but could not find the breakthrough to prevent the game from going to penalties.

Morgan then proved to be the hero of the night, with his spot kick setting up an illustrious tie in the next round.

It will be a repeat of the semi-final occasion two years ago, which saw Liverpool edge through as winners.
