Former Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent calls for a change at the club
Following today's protests outside the training ground, former Ipswich Town striker Darren Bent has stated 'there needs to be change' at the club.
Independent supporters' group Blue Action revealed earlier today they had been letting off flares and chanting 'we want Lambert out' as the team prepared for tomorrow's visit of Northampton Town (7pm).
It comes among growing unrest from fans, many of whom have become disillusioned with performances and results under Paul Lambert's management.
Taking to Twitter this afternoon, Bent, who is now a pundit for the likes of Sky Sports and talkSPORT, had his say on the situation.
Ex-England international Bent rose through the ranks at Ipswich and went on to score more than 50 goals for the club before joining Charlton Athletic in 2005.
