The MetOffice has warned that there could be some disruption to travel, and that drivers are likely to face delays as high winds, spray and flooding make roads harder to navigate.

It has also warned drivers of lorries and other high sided vehicles could be delayed on exposed routes, like the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich.

And to residents on the coast, it has warned some routes and seafronts will be affected by spray and large waves.

Today rain is expected to stop across Suffolk by midday, forecasters have said, with highs of 17c and lows of 9c.
