B1070 Bergholt Road, in Brantham, near Ipswich, crash sees woman airlifted to hospital with serious injuries
A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Officers were called to the B1070 Bergholt Road in Brantham, near Ipswich, at 12.55pm yesterday.
It involved a black BMW X3, a black VW Polo and a black Ford Fiesta.
The route reopened at 9.45pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said a woman in her 40s was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries, where she remains.
In addition, a man and young male were taken by land ambulance to hospital for a check up, alongside a female passenger from another car.
Officers continue to investigate the crash.
