Man and woman receiving treatment after light aircraft crashes in Heveningham, near Halesworth

A light aircraft has crashed in Heveningham, near Halesworth, with two people undergoing medical treatment.

The two-seater plane was involved in a collision at Heveningham Hall this afternoon, with emergency services called out at approximately 1.17pm.

A man and a woman are now being treated by medics, according to a Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.

However, no details have yet been disclosed about their injuries.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance was also deployed to the scene, supported at the scene by fire crews from Framlingham, Leiston, Halesworth, Stradbroke and Lowestoft.
