Traffic queueing on A12 southbound near Ipswich following two-vehicle crash




Motorists were told to expect delays on a section of the A12 southbound near Ipswich this morning due to a two-vehicle crash.

The crash caused congestion on the roundabout where the A12 meets the A14 at Junction 55, Copdock Interchange.

One lane on the A12 southbound route remained open but motorists are being told to expect delays.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said crews were sent to make the scene safe.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson added there were no reports of any serious injuries.

Suffolk Police announced the road reopened just before 2pm. They thanked the public for their patience.
