Ipswich plans to continue use of Tacket Street and St Peter’s Dock car parks set for approval




A pair of car parks in Ipswich town centre look set to remain in use for shoppers.

Ipswich Borough Council is set to approve proposals to continue using both St Peter’s Dock car park and Tacket Street car park.

The former would be granted permission to remain in use for a year, while the second would continue for two years.

Both car parks are only available for short stays, between four and five hours.

St Peter’s Dock contains 44 spaces while Tacket Street contains 255.
