Red Rose Chain celebrate successful run of Wind in the Willows at The Avenue Theatre Ipswich
A Suffolk based theatre company, which gave away hundreds of free tickets to the local community, are celebrating after a successful run at the Avenue Theatre in Ipswich.
There are still tickets available for Red Rose Chain's Christmas show, The Wind in the Willows, with performances running until New Year's Eve.
Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, Red Rose Chain were also able to create a magical Wind in the Willows garden for children to explore before watching the show.
The talented cast of the show has enchanted and delighted audiences so far, offering up brilliant music, 'plenty of silliness' and festive surprises.
Free, special community performances took place between December 9 - December 11, also funded by the arts council.
Joanna Carrick, Artistic Director at Red Rose Chain said the theatre company was keen to 'step up' their free ticket campaign for people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
More information about tickets for The Wind in the Willows can be found on the Red Rose Chain website or via their social media channels.
