Taco Bell to take on unit at Anglia Retail Park in Ipswich
The Taco Bell chain of fast food restaurants has all but finalised taking on a unit at a retail park on the outskirts of Ipswich.
The America-based company is taking over the former Carphone Warehouse unit at Anglia Retail Park.
The chain, founded in 1962 in California, in the USA, already has a restaurant at RAF Lakenheath, in Brandon.
Colin Kriedewolf, director of Ipswich Borough Assets which runs Anglia Retail Park, said it was 'positive' news for the site.
"We are managing the park to try to maximise its attractiveness and offer a diverse site," he added.
Ipswich Borough Assets, the commercial property company set up by the borough council, bought the Anglia Retail Park just over four years ago.
Since taking over, units have been taken up by Smyths Toys, Costa Coffee and Burger King.
