Ipswich Five Guys in Cardinal Park to open in 2024

The opening window for Ipswich’s Five Guys eatery has been revealed.

The American fast food outlet is set to open its second Suffolk eatery in Cardinal Park in Spring 2024.

According to planning documents submitted last month, the eatery will open in the former Dough&Co, next to Nando’s.

SuffolkNews originally reported that Five Guys was supposed to open by the end of the year.

However, a spokesman for the firm has said Spring 2024 was ‘always in the pipeline’.

In September, Five Guys began recruiting for roles at its Cardinal Park location.

The firm’s second UK drive-through – and its first eatery in the county – opened at the Fiveways Roundabout on the A11 near Mildenhall last month.

An opening date for the Ipswich eatery has yet to be confirmed.
