Ipswich man suffers serious injuries in A142 crash in Sutton, Cambridgeshire




A man from Ipswich is in hospital with serious injuries following a three-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the A142 Mepal Road in Sutton, Cambridgeshire, at 4pm on Friday after a Ford Transit van collided with an Audi A5 and a Peugeot 3008.

A man in his 20s, the driver of the van, who was from Ipswich, was taken to Addenbrooke's Hosptial in Cambridge with serious injuries.

The driver of the Peugeot, 53-year-old Noel Crawford, of Outwell Road in Emneth, died at the scene.

The Audi driver, a man in his 60s from Ely, was uninjured.

Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for information or dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the collision.
