Flood warnings have been issued for parts of Suffolk and Essex.

The Environment Agency has released alerts for minor flooding to coastal roads and footpaths lying along the River Stour and River Orwell estuaries between 1.45pm and 3.45pm today.

The flood gates at Felixstowe seafront will be closed.

The waterfront at Pin Mill, and The Strand at Wherstead under the Orwell Bridge may be water-logged, as could the quay at Mistley.

High tides tomorrow may also result in a flood alert.

The Environment Agency said: "You are advised to stay away from risk areas, and take care next to the coast. We are monitoring the situation and not expecting it to escalate."
