Ipswich Cardinal Park stabbing suspect released on bail as teenage victim remains in stable condition in hospital




A teenager who was arrested after a stabbing in Ipswich last week has been released on bail.

Police were called to Cardinal Park in the town at around 3.05am on Friday following reports of a 19-year-old boy having been stabbed.

An 18-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning but has since been released on bail until Thursday, August 26.

The victim was taken to hospital with what police described as 'life-changing' injuries.

He remains in a stable condition.
