A140 at Yaxley reopens after crash brings traffic to standstill

The A140 has reopened following a crash which saw it closed in both directions.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the southbound carriageway at Yaxley, near Eye, earlier this evening.

Traffic was at a standstill on both carriageways while emergency services dealt with the aftermath of the crash.

A Suffolk Police spokesman confirmed the road reopened at around 6.30pm.
