Three Wise Monkeys in Ipswich to host Easter Beer Festival, showcasing East Anglia’s independent brewers

Beer lovers will soon have the chance to sample the best from East Anglia’s independent brewers under one roof.

The Three Wise Monkeys, in Lloyds Avenue, Ipswich, will host the Easter Beer Festival on April 18 and 19.

Set up by Other Monkey Brewing, the brewing arm of Pasini Leisure, which runs the pub, it will feature four events split over the Easter weekend.

It promises to showcase the best of the region’s independent brewers, with hand-picked craft beers, street food and live entertainment.

The lineup includes Burnt Mill Brewery, Ampersand Brew Co, Leigh-on-Sea Brewery, Ramsey Island Brewery, Lacons Brewery, Datum Attitude Brewing Co, Mauldons Brewery, Wylde Sky Brewing, Artefact Brewing, and Wolf Brewery.

Each guest will have a dedicated station.

The four events will take place on Friday and Saturday from noon to 4pm and from 5pm to 11pm.

Attendees will have to book time slots in advance.

Standard entry costs £5 while more expensive tickets, priced at £20, will include a beer card plus four tokens, which can be redeemed for food or drinks.
