Suffolk Police ask Ipswich Audi Q3 driver to come forward as witness to robbery
A woman driving an Audi Q3 who assisted a robbery victim is being urged to come forward.
She stopped to assist a man after his phone was stolen in Ipswich town centre overnight between August 27 to 28.
She then gave him a lift home.
Suffolk Police hope to speak to her as they believe she could help with the investigation.
A spokesperson for the police said the victim left Bar Twenty One on St Nicholas Street at around 9pm on August 27.
It is believed he then headed to the Cattle Market to hail a taxi.
Police think he was struck on the head and his phone was stolen.
The Audi driver later picked him up on Foxhall Road.
The driver in question, or anyone with any information regarding the robbery, is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference 37/55596/22
