Police searching area around River Orwell in Ipswich for missing Framlingham man Edward Osborne
Police are conducting searches in Ipswich in a bid to find a missing man.
Edward Osborne, of Framlingham, was last heard from at about 5.30pm yesterday and was reported missing later that evening.
Mr Osborne is white, about 6ft, with a slim build and has a large tattoo of a raven on his upper right arm.
The 43-year-old is believed to be wearing a blue padded coat, a black hoodie with orange writing on the front, blue jeans, black and white converse-style trainers and a black woollen hat.
He is thought to be driving his car, a blue Skoda, registration CX11 ZBP. Police believe he is in the Ipswich area.
Officers, alongside the coastguard and Suffolk Lowland Rescue, are conducting searches of the River Orwell and surrounding coastline to track down Mr Osborne.
His family are very concerned for his welfare.
Anyone who believes they may have seen Edward, or knows of his current whereabouts, is urged to call police on 999 quoting CAD 361 of January 14.
