Ipswich man attacked by teenager outside Betfred in Nacton Road




A man in his 60s suffered facial and head injuries following an attack in Ipswich.

The victim was walking along Nacton Road, between 5pm and 5.20pm, near to Betfred, on Friday, December 9, when the incident took place.

He was outside of the shop when he was approached by a teenage boy who began to argue with him.

It is alleged the boy punched the victim to the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground and hitting his face.

The victim was taken to hospital as a result of injuries.

The suspect is described as white, aged around 16 or 17 years old, and wearing a black coat with the hood.

He was also accompanied by another teenage boy.
