Ipswich robbery sees man slashed with knife and his phone stolen by gang of four men




A man suffered a cut to his cheek after being robbed by four men armed with a knife in Ipswich.

The incident was outside St Lawrence's Church on Thursday at 7.10pm.

The man was approached by four other men in the churchyard, who slashed him with the knife and stole his phone, before leaving on foot towards Neale Street.

Suffolk Police are appealing for information or any witnesses of the theft to come forward, quoting crime reference 37/59681/22.
