Kelsey Delamain, of Brightwell Close, Ipswich, jailed for nearly three years after operating county line drugs trade distributing heroin and crack cocaine

A man has been jailed for nearly three years after pleading guilty to the supply of class A drugs.

Kelsey Delamain, 27, of Brightwell Close, Ipswich, admitted the charges today (October 19) at Ipswich Crown Court.

He was operating a County Line known as ‘Frank’ from March until mid-July this year, distributing heroin and crack cocaine.

Delamain used a mobile to conduct sales of the substances, sending near 5,500 messages from one device, which was discovered after police executed a search at his property on September 1, after which he was arrested and charged.

DS Vincent Grimsey, from the Serious Crime Disruption Team, said: “Despite the overwhelming evidence against him, Delemain initially denied sending the bulk text messages or using the phone or having anything to do with the ‘Frank’ drug line.

“However, the guilty plea he gave today clearly demonstrates his direct involving in pedalling class A drugs.

“This conviction again shows the Constabulary wants Suffolk to remain a hostile environment for those involved in the supply of drugs.”

Police inquiries established Delamain was sending bulk test messages to multiple numbers within short periods of time stating that class A drugs were available for sale.

When the search of his property was conducted, officers found Delamain with mobile phones and a small quantity of cocaine.
