Man in 30s dies following two vehicle crash on A137 at Wherstead
A man in his 30s has died after a crash on the A137 near Ipswich.
Suffolk Police were called to Bourne Hill in Wherstead at around 10.30pm yesterday following reports of a black Nissan Qashqai having collided with a grey Ford S-Max.
Fire and ambulance crews were also in attendance but the driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other people involved - the passenger in the Nissan and both the driver and passenger of the Ford - sustained minor injuries.
Road closures were put in place on the A137 and A14 while an investigation was carried out, but both roads reopened at around 5.25am today.
Police are asking for witnesses to the collision to come forward.
