Ipswich man Dwayne Farrell charged after aggravated burglary in Birkinfield Drive




An Ipswich man has been charged with a string of offences following an aggravated burglary in the town.

Suffolk Police were called to the scene of a burglary in Birkinfield Drive at 4am on Saturday.

Burglars threatened the occupants of the house before taking off in a dark coloured car.

Dwayne Farrell, 29, of All Saints Road, Ipswich, was subsequently charged with aggravated burglary, assault, witness intimidation, threats to kill and threats to commit criminal damage.

He is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates' Court today.

Two men, aged 32 and 51, were arrested in connection with the incident but have both been released under investigation.
