Man arrested on suspicion of exposing himself near Princes Street bridge in Ipswich
A man who allegedly exposed himself in Ipswich has been arrested, as police appeal to the victim to come forward.
The incident happened at around 6.10pm on Sunday on the tow path between the Princes Street bridge and Stoke Bridge when a woman witnessed a man exposing himself to another woman.
The victim walked away from the man but the witness challenged the man and phoned the police.
Officers from Suffolk Police arrived shortly after and found the suspect near the railway station in Burrell Road.
The 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of exposure and was questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police are asking the victim and anyone else with information to call the Custody Investigation Unit on 101 quoting reference 28439/21.
