Man arrested following stabbing in Ipswich




A man has been arrested as police continue their investigation into a stabbing that happened in Ipswich in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police were called to the scene, in the Cardinal Park area of the town, at 3.05am on Friday after reports of a serious assault. Cordons have since been lifted from the scene.

Following enquiries, the police have arrested a man, who has since been taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

The victim remains in hospital, and his condition is described as 'not life-threatening and stable.'
