Suffolk A14 westbound between Whitehouse and Claydon reopens after serious diesel spill
A section of the A14 which was shut after a diesel spill measuring a kilometre and a separate collision has reopened.
Suffolk police were called just after 2pm to the incident which is westbound between Whitehouse and Claydon.
A spokesman said a vehicle was damaged by a ladder in the road which caused the spill.
Meanwhile, a vehicle hit the central reservation in a separate incident further along the westbound carriageway near junction 52 at 2.10pm.
Delays were reported.
At 5.15pm, National Highways said the route had reopened but delays of around an hour remained which should start to ease.
