A14 between Ipswich and Needham market reopens after overturned lorry caused major delays

The A14 has reopend between junction 52 at Claydon and junction 51 at Beacon Hill after an overturned lorry caused heavy delays.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 5.10am, following reports of a lorry on its side.
National Highways warned of very long delays on the diversions and a 30 minute delay approaching the closure.
The driver of the lorry has been arrested for suspected drug-driving.
Another crash was near Stowmarket, involving a lorry and three cars, which caused further traffic chaos.
The eastbound route reopened at about 1.55pm, while the westbound route reopened at 2.35pm
