Ellisons Solicitors announces partnership with Ipswich’s Brighten The Corners music festival
A festival aiming to put Ipswich’s music scene on the map has gained the support of a local law firm.
Ellisons Solicitors has become a premium partner for the Brighten The Corners music festival.
Joe Bailey, chief executive of Brighten The Corners, said, with its backing, the festival will be able to expand its programmes to provide more opportunities for youngsters in Suffolk.
He added: “Partnerships like this are essential in ensuring we remain a driving force in the local and national music scene and we’re thrilled to welcome Ellisons on board.”
Ellisons remains committed to supporting schemes with a community or cultural focus.
Set to take place on June 13 and 14, this year marks the fifth Brighten The Corners festival.
It takes place at five venues in Ipswich – The Baths, The Smokehouse, St Stephen’s Church, The Corn Exchange – plus a stage on the Cornhill.
It recently announced its second wave of acts. Details on the first wave can be found here.
Guy Longhurst, managing partner at Ellisons Solicitors, said the firm was thrilled to lend its support.
“Their commitment to providing opportunities for young people through music, skills training and employment aligns with our own values of investing in our communities,” he said.
“Ipswich has a thriving creative scene and Brighten The Corners’ work is instrumental in giving the town a national platform.
“We look forward to being part of this exciting journey and seeing the positive impact our support will bring.”
