Sudbury twins Molly and Megan Bailey graduate with degrees in Law and Criminology from University of Suffolk in Ipswich

Twins from Sudbury celebrated graduating in the same subject this week.

Molly and Megan Bailey, 21, were awarded their degrees in Law and Criminology from the University of Suffolk in Ipswich yesterday.

The pair, who both aspire to be solicitors, were instrumental in creating the university's legal advice centre, which is open to the public.

Megan, the oldest by 15 minutes, received a first-class degree, and will continue to work at the centre.

She found working through the pandemic challenging, but made some amazing friends along the way.

Megan added: “I really liked that the University of Suffolk was smaller than other universities, as the lectures and seminars felt more personal, due to the support the lecturers ensured for the students.

“I also loved the location of the University on the waterfront, as it felt like I was far from home, especially when it was sunny."

Once positive to come out of university was that it helped her build up her confidence, she noted.

Twin sister Molly currently works at Ellisons Solicitors in Colchester.

She is proud her hard work paid off and appreciated all the help from lecturers.

Both twins have enrolled in the solicitors qualifying exam.

Molly gave some simple advice to future students: “Push yourself out of your comfort zone, and make the most of your time at university.”
