Historic Grade II listed Weavers House in Stratford St Mary vandalised with windows smashed




A Grade II listed building in a Suffolk village has been vandalised.

Weavers House in Lower Street, Stratford St Mary, has had its plaster damaged and its windows smashed as well as pushed out from its frames.

A Suffolk Rural, Wildlife and Heritage Policing spokesperson said the building is ‘historically significant’ and has encouraged anyone with information to get in contact with them.

Estate agents Grier & Partners are selling Weavers House with a guide price of £535,000.

The listing states: "This historically significant, Grade II* listed, intriguing and charming village property is in need of complete restoration.
