Man taken to hospital after A14 crash outside Ipswich

A man was taken to hospital after a four-car crash on the A14 outside Ipswich.

Suffolk Police was alerted to the scene on the westbound route, between junction 52 at Claydon and 53 at Whitehouse, at 8.07am.

A spokeswoman said the incident was a ‘damage-only’ crash with no reported injuries.

She said the road was not closed but one lane was blocked due to the pile-up.

Recovery has attended and moved three vehicles off the road.

The route cleared at 10.10am.
