Four people arrested after police raid Ipswich house and find drug wraps and cash
A 16-year-old boy was among four people arrested after police discovered more than 100 wraps of Class A drugs in Ipswich.
Suffolk Police executed a drugs warrant yesterday at a house in Burrell Road, where they found the drug wraps as well as £2000 in cash, mobile phones and bladed items.
Three men from Ipswich, one aged in his 40s and two aged in their 20s, and a 16-year-old boy from London were arrested at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
They were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
The man in his 40s was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The three men have been released under investigation, while the teenager has been bailed until May 25.
A police spokesman said: "The force wants to ensure the county remains a hostile environment for those involved in the supply of drugs and provide reassurance to Suffolk residents.
"Our local communities have an important role to play in this too. Don’t turn a blind eye. Talk to us about your concerns and we will work together to resolve the issue."
