A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the flames took hold on the third floor of the building.

The incident had been dealt with by 8.55pm.

The Fisons site was gutted by a blaze in 2019.

The site has been subject to frequent blazes since, including one in 2023.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said the incident was being treated as a ‘potential arson’, although there was no danger to life.

No arrests have been made.
