Missing Coddenham woman Linda Hales was last seen near School Road at 2pm yesterday

The family of a Suffolk woman who has been reported missing are growing 'very concerned' for her welfare.

Relatives of Linda Hales, 55, reported her missing yesterday evening after she failed to return home.

Linda was last seen near School Lane in Coddenham, the village in which she lives, and was wearing a light blue jacket, blue jeans, walking boots and a dark backpack.

She is also described as white, 5ft 5 and of slim build. She has shoulder-length blonde hair and green eyes.

A police spokesman said: "Family and officers are very concerned for Linda’s welfare and are asking anyone who has seen her or who has any information on where she may be to contact Suffolk Police on 101."
