Man taken to hospital after car hits side of Tesco Express in Civic Drive, Ipswich
A man was taken to hospital after a car hit the side of a Tesco Express in Ipswich.
Suffolk Police was called to the St Matthew’s Street roundabout at 1.35pm, after a vehicle went off the road and through metal barriers, into the side of the supermarket in Civic Drive.
The ambulance service was called and a man was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said the fire service had been called to check whether there had been any structural damage to the Tesco Express building.
Suffolk Highways has also been informed.
